Our Northwest Synod of Wisconsin has a companion relationship with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Malawi (ELCM). With this strong and growing relationship as the base, many synod congregations have been matched with a parish of the ELCM. Immanuel Lutheran Church began it’s partnership with the Zomba Parish in 2002. Our partnership includes trips to Malawi as well bringing congregational members from Malawi to our church and synod. We also do fundraisers to support the efforts in Malawi to feed the hungry and supply bed nets to combat Malaria.
